Legal Truths and Media Myths

Explore how the law is portrayed on TV versus real life in this engaging session with legal professionals. Discuss common misconceptions, ethical issues, and the realities of practice to build a more informed understanding of the legal system.

  • This event is taking place on March 19th from 6 PM to 9 PM in the CPA Lounge, located on the 7th floor of TRSM.


Mock Trial

Join us for a mock trial to test your legal reasoning and public speaking skills! In pairs, take on the role of prosecution or defence, study the facts, and present your case before practicing criminal lawyers. 

  • This event is taking place on April 4th from 10 AM to 4 PM in the Sears Atrium, located in the George Vari Engineering Building. 

  • Open to all students in Canadian universities.

Mutual Market is a non-profit, student-owned and student-run market fair based at Toronto Metropolitan University. Our primary focus is providing a regular and accessible platform for student artists and artisans.

  • This event is taking place on March 5th from 11 AM to 6:30 PM in the SLC Amphitheatre.

Celebrate International Women’s Day with the Legal Innovation Zone at LeGAL Leaders in Conversation, featuring women driving change in law and tech. Join for insights, Q&A, and networking over lunch.

  • This event is taking place on March 11th from 12 PM to 2:30 PM in the Oakham Café.


Time management is an important professional and life skill that can contribute to success in both academic and workplace settings. In this session, you will learn time management skills and techniques that you can apply to both your academic and career pursuits.

  • This event is taking place on March 12th from 12 PM to 1 PM virtually on Zoom.
